The aluminum frame and fan system maintain exceptionally quiet operation, even during prolonged use, so you can fully concentrate on the work. Compatible cameras can operate efficiently when connected and automatically engage the display's shutdown mode for a period of time during recording — the display is also fully compatible with the Cinema EOS System.

The display has a 12G-SDI interface that includes four inputs and four pass-through outputs, supporting HD, 4K and 8K workflows. Each 12G terminal supports signals up to 4K 60P, and all terminals can be combined to accept signals up to 8K 60P*. The DP-V3120 Reference Display supports the next generation plug-and-play ACES standard (ACES2065-1) from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
Varied Views
Canon's 4K reference monitor has a complete viewing angle of 89°. The display also minimizes color, brightness and contrast to improve accuracy with an IPS panel, anti-glare coating and filtering layers. The DP-V3120 can use up to four input signals to display the signals side-by-side for multi-view monitoring, camera and image information for settings checks from multiple cameras, different LUTs and SDR vs. HDR.
Sophisticated Toolkit for Discerning Image Makers
Canon’s HDR Toolkit is standard on the DP-V3120 — it provides support for HDR compatible tools like a waveform monitor, vectorscope, histogram, false-color, frame luminance monitor, pixel vale checker, out of gamut display, over-range detection and side-by-side display.
Optimized for a Dazzling System
The DP-V3120 is optimized for the Cinema EOS System with support for Cinema RAW and Canon Log formats. Creators can check focus, angle-of-view and other attributes with a display connection. Third-party support for ARRI, Panasonic LUTs, Log C, V-Log and HDR support can be preinstalled.
