For simulators with larger impact screens, you need a brighter projector which helps your picture to not get washed out.  And golf simulators require more light for the tracking cameras to photograph and analyze hits, with the main consequence being that projectors built for golfing simulators need to put out a lot of brightness. The LU710’s 4000 lumens provide users a bright projection that fills a typical 13 foot or wider impact screen while delivering excellent image quality.

In addition to a higher pixel count than that of standard full HD 1080p, WUXGA (1920x1200) provides a taller 16:10 display, an aspect ratio that allows users to enjoy more spacious swing positions.

The LU710’s powerful laser projection utilizes a dual color wheel system that covers an unparalleled 92% of Rec.709, the industry-wide standard for color reproduction in HD video and movies. Enjoy golf, movies, and games in vibrant color, knowing that what you’re seeing on screen is exactly what the director intended. In addition, the increased color ratios and pure laser-generated RGBY hues dramatically enhance color saturation and provide superior projected image quality compared to lamp projectors.

With throw ratios ranging from 1.13 to 1.46, the LU710 can project a 171” image (8x12ft (screen size); 91x146in (actual viewable size)) when placed within 14 feet from the screen, as an example, delivering a large picture without the expense of optional lenses.

To counteract the trapezoid effect that can occur when a projector is installed or placed off-center, the LU710 offers a 2D keystone correction range of up to ±30° on both the horizontal and vertical axes. Corner Fit control adjusts each corner for directly aligned image geometry.

The LU710 supports a digital signal via HDMI input directly from the devices running your golf sim software to the projector with no signal degradation.
