Installation Steps:
- Install the DCR Lens Retainer: Center the projector lens in its opening and install the retainer, ensuring the prongs are closest to the ceiling. Engage the locking tab to secure.
- Mount the DCR Lens: After removing the rear DCR lens prongs, install the lens and mount assembly. Rotate to align the movie edges and tighten the assembly screws.
- Adjust the Projector: Use the projector’s zoom and vertical lens shift to ensure the beam passes through the DCR lens and fills the screen. Fine-tune the vertical height for optimal image placement.
- Fine-Tune for 16:9 Content: Adjust the projector’s anamorphic mode and zoom to best display 16:9 content on a 2.4:1 cinema screen. Experiment with settings like "Anamorphic D" and "Anamorphic C" for the ideal viewing experience.

Installation Steps:
- Install the Lens Retainer: Center the projector lens, and install the retainer in the lens opening. Ensure the prongs are closest to the ceiling and engage the locking tab to secure it in place.
- Prepare the Projector: Align the projector so the test pattern lines are square to the screen edges. Set the projector’s anamorphic menu to display a 2.4:1 movie and adjust the zoom and vertical lens shift to fit the screen.
- Install the STE Lens: Remove the rear lens cover and install the STE lens/mount assembly over the retainer prongs. Rotate it so the movie edges align, then secure the lens with the assembly screws.
- Adjustments: Tilt the lens to correct any curvature and fine-tune the projector’s zoom and vertical lens shift. Tighten the tilt lock screw (do not over-tighten). You may also adjust pixel alignment using the projector’s settings.
- For 16:9 Content: Use “Anamorphic D” or “Anamorphic C” modes to fill the cinema screen with 16:9 content. Note that some menu switching may be necessary since menus are created in 16:9 format.
